Grace's Carrot Halwa
Ingredients

Fresh carrots shredded 4 cups
-
Milk (3 cups)
-
Sugar (1 cup)
-
Ghee 8 table spoon
-
10 cashew nuts
-
1/8 tsp Cardamom
Instructions
-
Wash peel and grate the carrots.
-
Place a wide vessel so that the carrots get cooked fast and uniform.
-
Add the shredded carrots into ghee and mix.
-
Fry until the carrots turn pale.
-
Use 3 cups of milk.
-
Let the carrots get cooked well in the milk.
-
Once the milk is completely absorbed add sugar.
-
Place a small work in medium flame roast cashew nuts with 1 tbs of ghee.
-
Crush the cashew nuts.
-
Wait for sugar to get thick.
-
Add the roast cashew nuts and powdered cardamom.
-
Cook the halwa stir occasionally until the added ghee separated.
